Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is a community hospital and one of the 11 acute care facilities under New York City Health Hospitals. We are located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, bordering Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant and Greenpoint, and serving a diverse patient population.
The OB/GYN department is a full-service department, including 16 Attending physicians, a Maternal Fetal Medicine service, fellowship trained Family Planning Specialists, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and an established Midwifery-Attending collaborative that has demonstrated successes in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Currently, we are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing hospital based, full-service practice. The selected candidate will provide treatment of high-risk pregnancies, expert care before and during pregnancy, inpatient care of antepartum patients and consultations, prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling and determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology;
Board Certified / Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG).
We offer competitive compensation and a stimulating work environment. The base salary offered for this role ranges from $325,000 – $375,000. Performance improvement compensation has been distributed in past years and Faculty Practice Revenue is expected to commence this year.
