Every year, NYU Langone Health’s radiology experts and technicians provide over 300,000 New Yorkers with safe, high-quality imaging services. Our Radiology department consists of 230+ board-certified radiologist, 65 physicians-in-training, and more than 1,400 technologist, nurses and physician assistants. Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a MRI Technologist – NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group.
In this role, the successful candidate Provides health care services, applying magnetic energy in a safe way to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic imaging procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. The MRI technologist must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-section anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. By performing all tasks in an efficient, responsible and caring manner, the employee will be dedicated to meet the needs of customers and staff. In doing so, will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care with respect to the special needs of each patient age group serviced as well as those persons with disabilities

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Completion of a two year approved ARRT school. BLS required.
Must have (1-2) years current MRI experience and MRI certification.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $90,376.00 – $100,376.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
