Overview

Champion strategies to maximize broker channel sales output and overall performance of our broker agency partners. Play key role in providing sales operations support to foster broker allegiance to the VNS Health brand. Works under general supervision.


Compensation:

$77,200.00 - $96,500.00 Annual

What You Will Do

  • Participates in development, implementation, and management of business alliances and partnerships with Field Marketing Organizations, down-stream GA & SGA broker agencies, and independent broker agents.
  • Maintains ongoing contact with key broker group managers, broker agents, and VNS Health Plans leadership to ensure sales strategies are aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Gains thorough understanding of broker agent business needs, objectives, and processes to provide value through deliverance of high-level process management and implementation of best practices.
  • Marketing event development & execution for contracted FMOs and down-stream broker agencies to increase broker channel sales.
  • Provides general administrative support to broker agents and assist with day-to-day operations related to selling Medicare plans, such as running eligibility of prospects.
  • Troubleshoots potential issues with broker agents; research issues and provides solutions.
  • Analyzes broker performance trends to identify areas of opportunity to increase productivity.
  • Reviews onboarding broker agent documentation to recommend approval or denial of VNS Health plan appointments.
  • Serves as point-person to broker partners ensuring all required appointment documentation & certifications are complete and current.
  • Participates in special projects, performs other related duties as assigned, such as data entry, preparation of marketing materials, and event exhibition.

Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
NYS Health Insurance license required

Education:
Associate's Degree in Business, Health Administration, Health Policy, Marketing/Sales, or related discipline required

Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in health care, with a minimum three years within a managed care environment required Knowledge of State Medicaid and Federal Medicare regulations required Business planning and project planning skills required Strong analytical/quantitative, oral/written communication, presentation and PC skills required
