Job Description

We're growing! We are experiencing a period of high sales and high growth. We are seeking an Electrical Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate has a background in both electrical panel design and ladder logic programming. Other responsibilities include documentation, simulation, and testing. This role works closely with the mechanical engineering team and a group including fabricators, mechanical assemblers, and general workers. This is not a 100% desk job. You will assist with the construction of your designs as needed.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

·Development of product designs for new and existing equipment

·Develop Bill of Materials for applications

·Develop documentation and schematics as required for timely completion of projects

·Develop and modify various PLC and HMI programs

·Train customers to use and maintain systems

 

Qualifications and Skills

·Minimum of two years of experience in electrical design, programming, schematics, control system integration, repair, and analysis of automated machinery.

Experience with:

·AC & DC motor drives

·Various PLC programming software

·Servo Motion Control

·Safety PLCs and Controllers

·Experience using AutoCAD

·Ability to rapidly diagnose, troubleshoot and debug problems in automated systems

·Results-oriented and innovative

·Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines

·Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills

·Ability to travel up to 10%

Salary: 70K-120K Depending on experience
