Overview

Summary

This position is part of a very exciting and strategic ConvergeOne Cloud initiative.  This role has the opportunity to learn sales skills, techniques and processes. This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating Cloud opportunities from cradle to grave and works within an existing database as well as out of base prospecting to increase and manage customer relationships.  Responsible for providing a high level of customer responsiveness and follow through in accepting and up selling customer solutions while growing opportunities within the C1 portfolio offerings.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Supports ConvergeOne’s strategic Cloud growth objectives across our business segments
  • Understands the ConvergeOne BANT Qualification methodology (Budget, Awareness, Need & Timing)
  • Develops new business opportunities by driving awareness for the ConvergeOne portfolio, Cloud offerings, 5X4 core practices and strategic partners by utilizing campaigns, regional events, digital tools (website, emails, social media)
  • Builds customer engagement through phone calls, emails, social media, sending white papers, recorded webinars
  • Positions thought leadership and differentiation
  • Nurtures and cultivates relationships by using our BANT methodology (clarifying timing, need, authority and budget)
  • Follows up with prospects and existing customers from field market events
  • Answers inbound sales calls from potential customers, obtains customer information, answers questions, provides information and follows up as needed
  • Uses Microsoft Dynamics CRM to capture information regarding leads/customers and communication history
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data when account information is incomplete to ensure data integrity

 

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Makes 25 – 35 strategic outbound dials per day
  • Utilizes tools such as; HubSpot, Salesforce, Lead Feeder, LinkedIn and Discover.Org.
  • Documents the activity and status of all leads
  • Meets and exceeds monthly goals
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A in Business or Marketing preferred
  • 1 – 5 years of experience with an inside sales role
  • Outstanding phone presence with the ability to create trust with prospective clients
  • Self-motivated and competitive; driven to reach and exceed individual and team goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn a lot quickly
  • Exceptional written communication and grammar
  • Persuasive interpersonal sales skills with positive outlook
  • Strong computer skills in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A in Business or Marketing
  • Knowledgeable in LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Desire to be Field Sales in their careers

Work Environment

Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.  This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
