Treasury Operations provides a global, integrated hub to efficiently manage funding, collateral and intraday liquidity resources and risk across Barclays. Our mission is to build a scalable organization that will deliver best in class service, controls, and analytics to the businesses and infrastructure partners to help them make better informed decisions on their costs, capital, risk and regulatory requirements. The core functions within Treasury Operations are Funding (Cash Management), Intraday Liquidity Management (IDL), and Analytics.

What will you be doing?

This position is responsible for producing funding projections and reconciling funding activity for US, Canada, and Latin America as well as effective management of intraday liquidity in those venues. The analyst will be responsible for:
*Following a pre-defined set of procedures.
*Escalating issues to line manager.
*Participating on various projects.

What we're looking for:

*Degree or equivalent qualification, concentrating in Economics, Finance or equivalent experience;
*2 years' progressive experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc.) and PowerPoint exemplifying an ability to analyze data and present results/recommendations
*1 years of experience in a financial institution
*2 years of experience working in a team atmosphere with progressive leadership responsibilities

Skills that will help you in the role:

*Cash and collateral management, USD/FX funding including payment methods, Money Market Settlement
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Excellent analytical, problem solving, and numeric skills along with objective thinking
*Experience driving process re-engineering and improvement and leading strategic change.
*Able to develop productive business relationships and drive excellent execution with senior management across Firm divisions.
*Detail oriented, self-starter with strong work ethic and advanced organizational and analytical skills
*Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
*Comfortable with the demands of working in a pressurized environment with multiple deadlines
*Strong multi-tasking and time management skills, including managing competing objectives
*Able to learn quickly and absorb complex concepts
*Able to analyze and present scenarios from both complex and high-level viewpoints
