Job Description

The Production Fabricator will be part of the production team responsible for the hands-on assembly of our Sartoflow SUTFF systems. This will require light fabrication and welding. The holder of the position will also work with the production team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements. The goal is to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets.

  • Manage high quality build in an efficient manner
  • Follow a defined process accurately
  • Ensure that production documentation is correctly recorded and is kept up to date
  • Effectively communicate with their Team Leader to maintain efficiency
  • Involvement in the implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing philosophies
  • Crate systems and components
  • Identify quality issues

What will convince us

  • High School Degree and 6+ years of related experience
  • Experience of working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment
  • Knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques
  • Understanding of mechanical fault finding
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good knowledge of quality, cost, efficiency and safety
  • Experience working with Stainless Steel, drilling, tapping and machining
  • Tig welding, the ability to set up, operate and weld to a high purity standard
  • Ability to bend tubing
  • Fabricate brackets, hangers and frames
  • Polish and blend stainless steel
