About the role / the team:

FIS is looking for a Transformation Director to own the strategy, build out the roadmap and deliver process automation within Global Operations and Merchant Solutions. You will report to the Senior Director of Business Process where you will have the opportunity to think strategically while also partnering with cross-functional teams to focus on delivery and execution.

What you will be doing / Key Responsibilities:

This role will work alongside both external consultants and internal teams to develop a fully functional automation program. You will work closely with all stakeholders to come to an agreement on the solution design, review and own the capability requirements, support platform testing and user-acceptance testing, and report to Global Ops on programme successes.

You will use analytical insights and innovation to create, simplify and deliver processes that will enhance the customer experience and drive-up efficiency across Global operations.

You will be expected to keep up to speed with new capabilities offered in the market and assess their viability for use within FIS, working closely with, but not limited to, Automate Next, Product, IT Infrastructure, Change Management, Finance, and Operational teams to implement where necessary.

  • Create and maintain the strategic program roadmap with the primary focus on improving the Customer Experience and leading to increased efficiency of internal client process or function

  • Possess ability to effectively articulate business opportunity and/or utilization and develop positive performance against budget

  • Represents Global Operations to ensure new capabilities or enhancements required are raised with Automate Next and are appropriately prioritized for delivery.

  • Gathering and analyzing information, developing and communicating recommendations.

  • Acts as the "go to" person for questions and problems for your responsibilities

  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

  • Knowledge and experience with RPA and automation, understand how it can help businesses develop and become more efficient

  • Led large transformational change with significant IT work and technical interfaces
