This is a business-critical position supporting the delivery of solution designs, through definition of complex initiatives and creating solutions impacting operations. Utilizing your knowledge and professional expertise you will facilitate solution design across the enterprise. You will take ownership of the operational solution design and work closely with stakeholders to successfully define , design and deliver solutions for Operations. Involved in developing, modifying and executing solution design that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide impact. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Manages activities of two or more sections or departments. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. In some instances, this manager may have subordinate supervisors.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing support throughout the delivery of the solution design dependent on the specific work streams you are responsible for

  • Completing accurate and cohesive report writing to inform the progress of the design.

  • Work with departments from across the organization to develop relationships enabling successful delivery of new functionality and solution design.

  • Responsible for the analysis on business requirements documents and understand the proposed solution to create solutions.

  • Provide management of solutions design in line with the engagement model

  • Design and implement reporting and dashboards capable of identifying performance, at business service level, against key metrics and indicators,

  • Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on projects to help inform strategic decision making and input into long term business planning for their areas.

  • Establish and maintain a solid network with key stakeholders across the business and where relevant our customer base.

  • To apply a structured methodology to developing and leading the solution design

  • Create actionable deliverables

  • Understanding Issues, questions and probes to uncover underlying issues

  • Finding solutions, able to identify best in class solutions to technically challenging issues

  • Liaise directly with stakeholders in order to maintain key relationships and taking on board any feedback required to improve the service

  • Ensure compliance of all regulations and legislation, such as FCA, DPA, TCF

  • Act as role model championing the values and brand for FIS at all times
