Job Description: Project Description: Provide/Present Analytical, Financial & Administrative Support

Description of Work:
Duties include:
Compile, prepare, edit senior management documents and information for EXCEL
spreadsheet and POWERPOINT presentation
Analyze large amounts of project and financial data to accurately and produce reports
and presentations
Maintain efficient work environment understanding the confidential nature of some
assigned work
Draft/edit reports, memoranda, EXCEL spreadsheets using formulas & pivot tables.
Complete any other analysis, presentation or administration duty assigned by Chief
Administrator, Budget Manager or designee.
Prepare budget documents or reports for design or construction projects.
Prepare any other budget documents as requested by requested by Budget Manager.
Track project level costs and coordinate budget development, modifications, and reporting.
Interact with various Design and Construction Managers, operating divisions, and departments.
Attend progress report meetings on various related projects.
Process payments for various contracts.
Education Requirement: Qualifications Requirements:
A Bachelor 's Degree plus 2 years of full-time experience in one or more of the following
areas: economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources
management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial
psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human
resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field
OR
A Master's Degree in those areas indicated above.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience Requirements:
Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience preferred, in one or a combination
of the following areas:
working with C-level managers presenting complex information, such as: management
analysis; finance/budget information; organizational research or program evaluations;
employment program planning; economic or fiscal management

Special Skills/Training Requirements
Must have the requisite degree/years of analytical, budgetary, presentation skills and/or
administrative experience in a busy, high demand, deadline-oriented environment
Must be expert with Excel with knowledge of formulas and pivot tables required.
Be comfortable multi-tasking and available to work overtime when required
Clearly organize, write, communicate program/project information and reports with
attention
Ability to set and meet project deadlines
Be proactive, flexible and responsive
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills
Hours: Normal Work Week: Monday - Friday
No. of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
(MTA C&D does not pay for lunch hour)
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Administrative 100%; Office 100%
Other Information: Duration of Service Required: 52 Weeks
Reports To: William Ciaccio, Chief Administrator, MTA Construction & Development,
Infrastructure Business Unit
