InGenesis is currently seeking an LVN II to work with our client in Houston, TX. In this role, you will provide a high level of paraprofessional patient care and treatment with supervisory and/or administrative research responsibilities.

Job Duties:

* Assist physicians and RNs with various medical techniques.

* Administer various medical tests and measurements to patients.

* Advise and educate patients on incision care, medications, and other health care questions.

* Perform routine laboratory procedures.

* Provide direction, guidance, and evaluation of vocational nursing personnel.

* May be involved with new hire selection, training, performance evaluations, counseling, and terminations.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

* 5+ years of experience, previous in a research environment preferred.

* Supervisory experience preferred.

* Possess excellent communication skills and decision-making abilities.
