The Opportunity

As QuidelOrtho continues to grow we are seeking an IT Analyst-CMDB Administrator We are in need for a dedicated resource to manage our CMDB. This responsibility is shared on a best effort basis between multiple IT resources. This person will be a dedicated resource responsible for establishing and maintaining the information stored in our ServiceNow CMDB repository.

The position can be located in Raritan, NJ, or East Coast Remote.

The Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the QuidelOrtho (QO) CMDB data model based upon the most current ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITIL best practices

  • Work alongside ServiceNow Admin team to ensure the platform is configured to QO data model and best practice standards

  • Lead the adoption, expansion and execution of automated configuration item (CI) population via ServiceNow Discovery, Service Graph Connectors and third party integrations where applicable

  • Ensuring the CMDB is fully functional in supporting any processes that rely on it (e.g. core ITSM-Change, Incident, Problem, Request; third party integrations leveraging CMDB data)

  • Create and document the processes and procedures used to govern and maintain the CMDB

  • Develop and maintain CMDB reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB health

  • Develop metrics that will provide management indicators of CMDB health and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Conduct annual (and adhoc when necessary) CMDB audits to ensure accuracy and currency of data

  • Chair meetings with stakeholders to advise on CMDB efforts and expectations

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent preferred however not required

  • 5 years of information technology experience required

  • 3 years of experience with the ServiceNow Platform (specifically IT Service Management and IT Operations Management) required

  • Detailed understanding of Configuration Management practices and ITIL processes required

  • Familiarity with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Identification and Reconciliation Engine

  • Working knowledge of asset management tools such as SCCM, Intune and BigFix

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery/Service Graph Connectors/Service Mapping/third party integrations preferred

  • ITIL Foundation (v3 or 4.0) certification preferred

Key Working Relationships:

  • Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization

  • Work with external vendors on any configuration required to reference or populate the CMDB

Salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including: education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. Salary range for this position is $57,000 to $102,500 and is bonus eligible or eligible for incentive compensation.QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays.
