Job Description
This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

The Director of AdvisorRelations supports the Global AVP of Influencer Relations and is part of a team committed to the firm's strategy and value-based relationships withanalyst organizations globally. This role is based in North America and will support global business in collaboration with global colleagues and team, reporting to the AVP for Global Influencer Relations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set the analyst CoE and program strategy aligned to global influencer program goals

  • Establish and manage industry sourcing advisorrelationships where advisorshave a presence aligned to the firm's strategy and market opportunities.

  • Inform and influence advisorsto build trust and improve advocacy, leading to long/short-listing and deal invitations.

  • Manage a global team, including Center of Excellence, in driving best-practice analyst relations

  • Improve the firms' visibility and positioning in the market and ensuring it's measurable

  • Source insights and customer opportunities in the advisorcommunity to bring to the firm

  • Support the firm's strategy for informing and influencing the advisorchannel to drive awareness and differentiation in the market while gaining outside-in perspective to support business strategy and outcomes.

  • Responsible for driving unified messaging and thought leadership within the advisorcommunity globally.

  • Assist AVP to Develop and manage budget for program, including research agendas, contracts, projects, conferences

  • Assist AVP in (1) developing overall AdvisorRelations program - plan, goals, budget, strategy, and (2) managing execution

  • Partner and support key stakeholders, including sales, business development, large deal team and key industry, regional, service line leaders.

  • Partner with colleagues in the extended organization, Influencer Relations, Competitive Intelligence, Strategy, Marketing, and channel enablement programs to secure placements in key reports and amplify the recognition of the brand and its awards

  • Represent Cognizant AdvisorRelations at industry events and conferences.

  • Support the 150+ global submissions initiated annually.

Job Requirements

  • Previously created and/or led a global advisorrelations program for a tier 1 service provider or technology firm.

  • Knowledge of advisor firms, their market and customer influence, key relationships

  • Demonstrable experience of creating differentiated strategies to engage advisorsand leverage the advisorchannel to support business outcomes.

  • Should possess strong communications and executive coaching skills

  • Experience in measuring program progress and outcomes.

  • Ability to create go-to-market opportunities with advisorfirms.

  • Experience working with/in the advisorresearch functions.

  • Experience coaching senior leadership and experts on external analyst engagement.

  • Strong existing relationships with the advisorfirms and ability to create a position of advantage for the firm.

  • Established global relationships with Forrester, Gartner, IDC, and/or other advisor firms and their reports.

  • Strong relationships with key global advisorfirms, with focus on the Americas

  • Remote working -- Up to 20% travel, domestic & international

Targets

  • Establish baseline influence level of existing AdvisorRelations Program

  • Assist and contribute to growth metrics and strategies

  • Establish baseline relationships with the advisorcommunity, global and regional, to effectively position Cognizant as the go-to firm for their global enterprise clientele.

  • Support building influencer support that drives long-term sustainable pipeline opportunity growth

  • Previously created and/or led a global advisor relations program for a carrier, service provider or technology firm.
  • Knowledge of the advisory and influencer relationship market, their strengths, and modes of engagement.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating differentiated strategies to engage advisors and leverage the advisor channel to support business outcomes.
  • Should possess strong communications and executive coaching skills
  • Proven track record of increasing deal flow and new opportunities through advisor relationships.
  • Ability to create go-to-market opportunities with advisor firms.
  • Experience working with/in the advisor research functions.
  • Experience coaching senior leadership and experts on external advisor engagement.
  • Strong existing relationships with the advisor channels and ability to create a position of advantage for the firm.
  • Proven record of collaborating with TPA firms to create opportunities through repeatable, scalable GTM strategies with demonstrable results
  • Established global relationship with ISG across research, advisory, network, practice areas, and Provider Lens programs.
  • Strong relationships with key global advisory firms globally, with focus on North America and EMEA
  • Up to 50% travel, domestic & international

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 2, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000-$200,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
