Overview

As the subject matter expert the successful candidate will retain knowledge of positioning within client opportunities and across all channel profiles to increase market share.

This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.


The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors*
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the business development and business management of commercial robot products and achieving the preset sales target
- Business model landing - promote new sales and service models through different channel partners
- Channel development and management - Develop professional channels and industry channels, establish multi-level channel network in line with business needs, implement Go To Market management and pipeline management of channels, effectively deal with conflicts between channels, optimize channel system and maintain competitive situation
- Channel empowerment - Enable the channel in the product capacity, sales capacity, after-sales capacity and other aspects of the systematic construction
- Sales Support - Responsible for effectively syncing sales reach into all target industries, realizing penetration and replication of major application scenarios such as business, industry, transportation, medical education, etc., promoting the development of key accounts in the industry, and implementing key account life cycle management
- Market support - Collect relevant business information in the region, including demand dynamics, industry applications, and competitive business information.
- Develop and execute strategies with key decision makers and end-user customers in the dealer sales channel and with the intent of increasing Canon-branded and third-party software solutions sales and wholesale channels
- Provide technical consultation pertaining to workflow assessments RFP, RFQ, proposals, strategy development, and in-depth knowledge of Canon-branded and third-party software solutions to support Canon sales efforts in assigned dealers and/or assigned geographical territories
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Technical and/or Sales experience with robotics products helpful.
- Possess in-depth technical product, industry, vertical market, and workflow knowledge to effectively assist the wholesales channels and end user customers with detailed analysis and recommendations pertaining to Canon hardware and software solutions.
- Strong market perception and product understanding, able to keenly perceive market dynamics and grasp market development direction.
- Excellent negotiation skills, strong ability of organization and coordination and grasp of project links.
- Capable of traveling within the US as well as occasionally to Canada
- Strong team spirit and overall vision, personal goals to support team goals, team goals to support company goals.
- Requires approximately 75 % overnight travel
- May require considerable travel throughout sales territory (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.



* In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role if filled in California, Colorado, Jersey City, New York City, Westchester County or Washington: $73,930 - $110,720. This role is eligible for commissions under the terms of an applicable plan.
