NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the U.S, caring for approximatley 160,000 visits annually, including a separate pediatric ED. It has one of the oldest EM residencies in New York.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic physician to join the Emergency Medicine Faculty. The emergency medicine attending will supervise clinical activities in the emergency department during their assigned shifts. Working collaboratively with nurses, NPs, PAs, residents, and fellows, they will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of any patient presenting to the Emergency Department. Provision of bedside and traditional teaching of students, residents, and fellows will comprise a large component of their role. Additional participation in departmental or hospital committee or administrative tasks may be assigned by the department chair.
