Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OBGYN Generalist opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is located on 135th Street in Manhattan and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The OBGYN service has a 24-hour pain management service, with five birthing suites and a 17-bed inpatient unit. Harlem Hospital features a da Vinci Robot and a full GYN service, which includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, an active robotic surgical service, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 800 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Medical Center.

Responsibilities
    General OBGYN inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management.
  • Ambulatory clinic coverage.
  • Inpatient Gyn/ED consultation.
  • Labor & Delivery coverage.
  • Supervise the care given to patients by the Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Adequate surgical skills required to cover inpatient services.
  • Provide night, weekend and holiday coverage as assigned.
  • Applicants should be knowledgeable of best practices in OBGYN and have mature communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Participates in Departmental performance improvement activities.
  • Night and weekend call required and will be compensated above salary.

Qualifications
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
  • Board Certified or Eligible in General Obstetrics & Gynecology

  • Annual salary = $260,000 Board Eligible / $270,000 Board Certified status - The salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include any incentive compensation, additional call pay, or benefits.
