ASSOCIATE RESEARCH SCIENTIST
Associate Research Scientist position available in the Center for Precision Medicine and Genomics to study the genetics and genomics of complex disorders in humans and mouse models. The projects will employ state of the art genomics and bioinformatics approaches to perform genome-wide discovery of susceptibility genes for organ failure in humans and animal models (exome, whole genomes, RNA seq, single cell, DNA microarray).
The position will also provide opportunities to gain expertise in precision medicine and implementation of genomics into clinical care.
Minimum Degree: PhD or MD/PhD
Minimum Qualifications: Requires prior experience in genetics, bioinformatics and/or programming to handle large Next-Gen sequencing datasets.
