Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematology/Oncology physician to the group at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds and accommodates more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs.The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.

Responsibilities
    We are looking for a colleague to join our dynamic group of 6 hematologist-oncologists, in a very friendly working family-like atmosphere

Qualifications
  • Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
  • High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize a variety of time sensitive tasks. Consistently display the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
