The Associate Director, Omnichannel Marketing and Media position reports to the Senior Director, Omnichannel Marketing (HCP and Patient). The associate director will also partner closely with key internal partners to deliver omnichannel and media specific marketing input and activities.

The Associate Director of Omnichannel Marketing and Media is responsible for managing, executing and optimizing a connected and integrated marketing ecosystem within the US focused on the integration of media activations within the touchpoints of our customers. This role plays an integral part in the shaping, planning, execution, and optimization of personalized omnichannel promotional campaigns to healthcare professionals (HCP) and consumers across our Alzheimer's ecosystem.

The Associate Director is responsible for building successful, data and insight driven media and channel activation campaigns partnering with marketing team members in designing, implementing, and evaluating omnichannel marketing and activities. This team member will be a transformation agent, supporting our real time Omnichannel needs as well as helping us prepare and secure an effective foundation for future scale, innovations and effectiveness within Media and Omnichannel; supporting the integration of new processes and best practices. He/she manages relationships with agencies, external alliance colleagues and internal business partners to align customer journeys and strategies across target audiences as well as ensure regulatory/legal and compliance requirements are met.

This role requires strong marketing and media skillset with a history of driving and supporting campaigns for patients and health care providers, in addition a particularly detailed understanding of analytics in omnichannel. Additionally, executional excellence, and a proven track record of success working in a cross-functional team environment are required.

Essential Functions

Plan, identify, develop, and partner on execution of omnichannel and media materials, programs, and activities consistent with FDA-approved labeling that support brand strategies to drive business impact and meet objectives. Leverage omnichannel capabilities, best practices, and innovation to enhance customer engagement for the brand. Assess program and tactic performance, leveraging analytics and research to identify successes and opportunities to optimize. This includes working with market research and analytics to identify and implement metrics to gain market insights and measure performance. Monitor products, marketplace, and treatment trends and events to anticipate/identify changes in the landscape and then make recommendations to appropriately respond. Strong project management skills are required. Monitor project status and budget. Provide regular reporting on progress, challenges and solutions. Establish relationships and work with commercial partners (internally and externally) to communicate and ensure alignment on strategy, messaging, and execution within scope of projects. Actively contribute to the development of the annual business plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience required, including 5+ years pharmaceutical experience and 5+ years in media, omnichannel, multichannel, digital, and/or brand marketing
  • Knowledge of best practices in media/omnichannel/multichannel/digital marketing/advertising
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, is proactive and solutions oriented, can function autonomously and has the ingenuity to bring ambiguity into action
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to translate insights into strategies, plans and tactics
  • Analytical skills, including ability to apply understanding of key performance indicators to optimizations
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, including presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate cross-functional team members and to partner with internal stakeholders including Brand team, IT, analytics/market research, sales leaders, sales training, legal, regulatory and compliance
  • Experience working with and directing creative and media agencies and 3rd party vendors
  • Understanding of PhRMA and Regulatory/Legal guidelines for healthcare provider and patient interactions to ensure programs adhere to outlined Compliance guidelines for Eisai
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to work on-site in hybrid capacity
