Data Entry Specialist

Data Entry Specialist will provide data entry support services for NYC Health + Hospitals Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers (HERRC) caseworkers and integration support for ongoing and collaborative efforts by NYC HERRC, federal, state, and local governments, NGOs, non-profits, resettlement agencies, and community organizations. This position is Onsite with a limited number of remote positions.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Data Entry Specialist:
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform required program data entry into the NYC Health & Hospitals technology platform for case management record keeping with skilled accurate precision and speed.
  • Familiarization with common business program software, data management file system standards and practices.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies when entering high volume data into the NYC Health & Hospitals technology platform.
  • Conduct regular reviews of data and reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Participate in and support data analysis efforts to identify trends in program administration.
  • Coordination and documentation of work session meetings.
  • Tracking and coordination of audit programs.
  • Records management and organization skills supporting program specific information.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Data Entry Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years related experience.
  • Must be proficient in Windows based PC-compatible computers, general office equipment, MS Office Suite, the internet, and databases.
  • Knowledge of advanced functions of variety computer software and the ability to use and integrate these software packages to develop the desired results.
  • Must have knowledge of office management principles, practices, and procedures, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with typing, writing and editing preferred.
  • Must be an effective team worker with excellent interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must work independently with subject matter experts to determine needs and complete assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Data Entry Clerk, Data Entry Operator, or Data Input Specialist.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
