Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to the group at PAGNYfor NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Located on 135th Street in Manhattan, is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Medical Center.

Level 3 neonatal ICU with 15 beds which provides care to preemies 22 weeks and onwards. NICU services include bubble CPAP, conventional and high frequency ventilators, nitric oxide and has subspeciality services of Pediatrics surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, genetics, neurology and infectious disease.

Responsibilities
    Attend high risk delivery and manage preterm and full term newborns
  • Precepting and supervising interns and residents
  • Diagnosis and management of patients in Neonatal ICU in Harlem Hospital, a level 3 NICU
  • Performance of medical resuscitation, intubation and management of ventilator, and performance of central line placement, thoracotomy and chest tube placement
Qualifications
  • Board Certification/Board Elibiligy in Neonatology
  • Level III NICU experience
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
