Salary: $90,000/yr.- $125,000/yr. Commensurate with experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Finance team based in our corporate headquarters in New York City.

About the Job

The Senior Treasury Manager will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance. This position will play a critical role within the team, helping the organization manage its liquidity and raise the debt capital to fund its ambitious 5-year growth plan. The ideal candidate for this position has demonstrated experience in Treasury and/or banking roles, managing investments, overseeing liquidity management processes, and arranging bank credit facilities. This candidate should also be excited by the prospect of working at a true social business, a sustainable financial institution that is dedicated to enabling financial mobility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of the organization's cash position, operating cash flows and Treasury processes.
  • Conducting regular, comprehensive cash flow forecasting to help inform Grameen America' liquidity management strategy.
  • Manage Grameen America's lenders relationships, existing debt facilities, and arrange new loans. This includes completing regular investor reporting requirements, inclusive of covenant compliance, and conducting due diligence for new deals as well as for ongoing renewals.
  • Manage Grameen America's integrated treasury management system and be the primary point of contact for depository banking relationships.
  • Play a critical role in helping Grameen America evolve its Treasury processes and systems as the organization scales. The positions will be critical to architecting the next iteration of Grameen America's Treasury infrastructure.

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years of treasury or banking experience, including working on closing loan facilities, cash flow forecasting, lender reporting and managing investor and bank relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Committed team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with and interest in technology systems for improving workflows and increasing productivity.
  • Strong Excel skills. Experience in financial modeling a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in fixed income investments a plus.
  • Experience working with rating agencies and arranging capital markets transactions a plus.
  • Passion for working in a social impact enterprise.

TRAVEL:

  • Attend quarterly staff meetings in New York City required. Travel and lodging at employee expense.
  • Position is currently remote but may be subject to a hybrid schedule in the future.
