Business Unit Controller
The Business Unit Controller is a director-level position reporting to the corporate controller and leads the finance and accounting functions of the business unit, including managing the financial accounting and reporting process, financial audits, internal controls, tax and treasury functions. The Business Unit Controller establishes relationships with key external parties, including customers, vendors, auditors, and service providers. They also champion internal relationships with cross-functional leaders, driving for continuous improvements and developing their team members.
Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
Experience: Eight (8) years of progressive experience leading finance and accounting functions
Three (3) years of experience managing a team and building a positive culture
Substantial ERP experience
Preferred: Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
Public accounting experience (including CPA)
Process improvement experience a plus
Experience leading systems implementation
Exposure with tax, audit and treasury functions
