Overview

As the US Regional Compensation Specialist, you are responsible for managing the Company's compensation policies and programs within the US region. This role allows you to collaborate and partner with multiple stakeholders throughout the company. With our HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, you will benchmark and provide appropriate compensation levels and ranges for both internal and external positions. With our Finance group, you will help in creating fiscal workforce plans and assist with budgetary compensation related forecasts. In addition, you will play a significant role in helping to design and implement the employee recognition and reward programs at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies.

Job Duties:

    Administers compensation plans in accordance with company governance and applicable laws, regulations, and company goals.
  • Manages the job architecture framework.
  • Administers regional annual merit, promotions, and incentive programs.
  • Administers surveys and analyzes market data to evaluate wage and salary levels.
  • Analyzes internal salary equity and monitors pay equity.
  • Evaluates and recommends salary increases and other compensation changes.
  • Liaise between HRIS and payroll to ensure accuracy of compensation.
  • Conducts annual economic research and recommends annual inflation rates by sites within region.
  • Monitors and report on compensation trends.
  • Additional compensation related projects as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years Human Resources experience with a focus in compensation administration
  • Experience in benchmarking roles and interpreting salary surveys' (Radford preferred).
  • Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to compensation within applicable region.
  • Knowledge of creating a workforce plan with details compensation cost analysis
  • Must have advanced excel software skills.
  • Must have advanced written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high growth fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 10%)

Reporting Relationships

This position will report directly to the GVP HR Total Rewards.

Compensation

The US salary range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000. Pay within this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.

FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations. This position will require access to technical data, technology and source code that is controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22 C.F.R. Parts 120 - 130 and Export Administration Regulations in 15 C.F.R. Part 730 - 774, as may be amended. To conform to these laws and regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., protected individuals as defined by 8 USC 1324(b)(a)(3) (i.e., asylees and refugees) or otherwise eligible for an export authorization from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
