Description

This Key Account Manager position will be based out of our the Niagara Fall / Buffalo area and service multiple, large, strategic, pulp and paper customers in Western NY. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, managing existing business, creating value for your customer and expanding the Solenis business.A Key Account Manager's focus is to manage day to day activities at customer site for the Solenis team and ensure over wellbeing of the business through value growth and innovation. Additionally, a Senior Key Account Manager is required to coach other Solenis team members in managing the business and growing customer relationships.

  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain and build customer relationships
  • Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites
  • Sell new business and new applications in your territory - develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities.
  • Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Technical/Science preferred)
  • 5+ years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred)
  • Strong Project management and problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
  • Ability to work with autonomy and with a team
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
  • Customer focused
  • Leadership ability
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
