Regional Manager - West
Your tasks

Oversee the operations for the San Diego area facilities, including Mira Mesa and Rancho Bernardo. Manage a team of highly proficient Sales Executives, while developing sales strategies, Conduct interactions for potential sales opportunities, identification of valid leads, follow-up and coordination with sales management. Actively work with Business Line Director to grow sales in various service areas, such as ITE, consumer goods, machinery, lighting and laboratory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operational management of the Western USA region and lab operations. This will include maintaining compliance to TUV SUD Policies and ISO17025 Guidelines. Setting operational KPIs to monitor region performance, all associated supervisory responsibilities, assessing training needs, conducting performance reviews, etc.

Manage your direct sales team to their target and projection

Creating detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas

Complete Regional P&L Management

Create an annual budget and financial forecast, monitor spending on a continuous basis, and provide monthly adjustments to the forecast as required for each site within the region.

Collaborate with other Regional Managers to ensure sites are staffed and equipped to meet business needs and forecasted growth plans.

Work to streamline processes and workflow

Support customer meetings, inquiries, and testing to support business development of the region.

Oversee the San Diego technical leads to ensure the operational performance and timing of projects are maintained to maximize revenue and margin to meet customer performance/timing targets and company financial goals.

Support the hiring, training, growth and development of the technicians and engineers.

Develop lab and equipment strategy and best practices to support efficient and cost-effective lab operations.

Create future strategic plans

Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customers' dedication

Assist in negotiating agreements with current and prospective clients

Ensure the site operations maintain compliance with environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Well-versed in the technical/engineering details related to modern technology/TIC business

Demonstrated ability to manage lab operations to drive revenue and satisfy customer deliverables.

Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment;

Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines;

Thrive in a fast-pace environment and work well under pressure;

Articulate, professional, courteous and effective manner with internal and external customers

Customer service-oriented; Self-starter with a positive outlook and motivated attitude;

Your qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years Experience in product safety compliance services,

Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience, including development of individuals and teams

Minimum 5 years operational experience in a lab environment with financial/cost responsibilities

Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles

Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

Organizational and time management skills

Enthusiastic and passionate
