As a Solution Architect for Network Technology Tools, you'll ensure that National Grid's IT Network Team provides internal technical knowledge and architectural integrity across the NCIS product portfolio in support of the IT and Operational Telecomm (OT) services consumed by the National Grid business.
You'll produce technical standards, policies, guidelines, and architectures that enable the detailed design and delivery of services that meet the requirements of the business. You'll support the delivery of product roadmaps through technical innovation based on research, industry expertise, cost analysis and technical knowledge.
You'll take ownership of the definition of services and ongoing evolution of a set of network monitoring, measurement and observability tooling capabilities that in-house and outsourced delivery teams must comply with to ensure new and upgraded services are effectively automated, monitored, performance measured and controlled.
You'll be responsible for determining current and future IT and OT networking needs. You'll oversee and actively drive the development of the architecture and design of data networking monitoring, management, automation platforms (Thousand Eyes, Netflow), data network automation tools (Netbrain, Cisco DNA Center), and integration with operations and security tools (Solar Winds, Splunk).

Salary
$115,000 - $135,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
