As the Product Lead for Atlas, you will play a key role in shaping the future of solar construction. You will be a founding member of this business platform and spearhead the product development and design of Atlas, ensuring its smooth integration with the solar construction ecosystem. Key responsibilities include development of the strategy, roadmap, execution of product vision, lead the product team while collaborating with partners and stakeholders. Major Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development and design of Atlas, ensuring alignment with the customer needs, market trends, and AES and Atlas business goals.

  • Drive product improvements and enhancements based on feedback, data analysis, and testing.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external industry partners across the value chain, such as solar module manufacturers, tracker vendors, EPCs, and O&M providers.
  • Ensure the integration of Atlas with the solar plants and the AES platform, using the existing capabilities and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the engineering, business development, construction, finance, M&A, supply chain, and strategy teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and progress to key stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Facilitate the commercial deployment of Atlas on utility-scale solar projects in the US and international markets.
  • Define and track key product metrics, such as installation speed, quality, cost, reliability, and safety.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the Maximo product team.
  • Lead and mentor the product team, including hiring, mentoring, and providing performance evaluation.

Qualifications

* Transformational mindset: Strategic vision for creating new solutions and opportunities in the solar industry.

* Customer empathy: Strong capability to ideate new solutions and understand customer needs, while driving new products and solutions to market.

* Experience: Bachelor of Science in engineering or design with a minimum of 15+ years of work experience, MBA or similar continuing education preferred. C-level and/or senior position at least in one startup is preferred.

* Expertise: Demonstrated experience in bringing new products to market, product integration, and/or design management. Deep familiarity with utility-scale solar field construction and solar project development is a plus.

* Skill and Behavior: Capability to lead and empower a diverse team in a technical business environment with minimal direction. Excellent communication skills. Bias toward action, "get things done" and founder's mentality; comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity; no compromise on attention to quality and details.

* Technology proficiency: Demonstrated ability to understand solar engineering and technology concepts, question assumptions, and make informed product decisions.

Travel: 25%+ of travel is expected for this role.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $181,000 and $235,450/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
