Position Overview

Daily Harvest is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Management Analyst to oversee product accuracy throughout our network, implement and manage a robust inventory control program, and drive accountability among our fulfillment centers and vendors. The role will sit in our HQ in NYC, managing physical inventory remotely within our supply chain through data analysis.

Responsibility:

  • Serve as a super user within the Netsuite ERP system, leveraging its capabilities to streamline inventory operations.
  • Drive vendor accountability through data analysis and proactive communication, fostering strong partnerships for optimal inventory management.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and tracing from production through consumption, utilizing systematic methods and regular audits.
  • Generate detailed reports on various inventory metrics, including stock levels, inventory turns, space optimization, aged inventory, and adjustments.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management, providing clear insights and recommendations based on inventory data.
  • Prepare and reconcile required daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Coordinate and manage monthly/quarterly physical inventories, facilitating follow-up reporting and action plans as needed.
  • Address any shortages or overages identified in transfer orders with storage and fulfillment centers, updating Netsuite to reflect accurate inventory levels.
  • Build, implement and maintain compliance control programs across multiple sites and vendors.
  • Partner with internal Production, Logistics, and Food Safety Quality Assurance teams as operations require.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement in inventory management processes.
  • Reconcile inventory weekly to support accounting purposes.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as necessary to support the supply chain function.

Qualification/Responsibility:

  • 3+ years experience
  • Experience in quality assurance and food safety; areas of experience include HACCP, data collection, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and interface with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to read and understand vendor documentation
  • Ability to work within strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate/manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in computer applications and systems including G-Suite, Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), ERP (Netsuite)

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
