The Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator helps coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ) s overall performance improvement program. This includes but is not limited to the following: supporting the performance improvement process, identifying performance trends, prioritizing, and recommending improvements, coordinating hospital-wide Performance Improvement activities re: strategic initiatives and department goals, and participates in the root cause analysis (RCA) process for applicable serious safety events. The PI Coordinator also plays a supportive role in ensuring compliance with all Regulatory standards. The PI Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Quality/Safety/Regulatory. |
Education/ Requirements
*Education: *RN License in New Jersey strongly preferred. *Professional Certification (CPHQ-Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) and/or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) highly desirable. Experience: *Minimum of five years experience in clinical practice. *Prior experience with performance improvement initiatives desirable. *Prior leadership experiences desirable. *Knowledgeable about state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements. Qualifications: *Ability to work effectively with colleagues, physicians and hospital staff. Ability to effectively and efficiently organize, prioritizes, and coordinates job responsibilities. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills. |
