Resident Engineer to work on Nassau County Department of Public Works roadway resurfacing projects. Ten years' experience on similar construction projects. Must be conversant with County specifications (preferred).

Responsibilities
    Supervise all activities of the project and ensure full compliance to project plans and specifications.
  • Oversee inspection personnel.
  • Ensure all reports, documentation, and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction inspection
  • 3 years of experience working as a Resident Engineer

Certifications/Licenses:

NICET IV or equivalent

The pay range for this position in New York City is $135,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the salary transparency provisions of the NYCHRL. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via the NV5 careers site.
