The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

This position runs Monday - Friday, with the following shifts:
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
  • Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.
  • Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
  • Preferred two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
  • Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to work overtime with a flex schedule on the weekends.
  • Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
