Job Description

Accountable for identifying, managing, and implementing global improvement projects and initiatives across end-to-end Manufacturing, taking a holistic view of Continuous Improvement (CI) activities within the Nourish Ingredients business. Work with the Ops leadership team and Manufacturing Technology team to develop CI strategies and long-term improvement plans to meet Productivity goals for the sites and consequently for the Nourish Ingredients business. Make sure the approaches and learnings are leveraged across sites.

Responsibilities:


Core member Nourish Ingredients Ops team to:

  • Understand business partner needs and advise on strategic opportunities.
  • Create, evaluate, and qualify pipeline of opportunities to generate value to the business.

Strategy:

  • Coordinate the development of the site Ops Goal Alignment document (former A3), which includes the key areas to focus for the site and the operations KPIs and targets.
  • Focus and support cultural transformation.
  • Engage stakeholders in supporting improvements.

Expertise & Coaching:

  • Develop expertise on key digital themes such as Digital Advance Analytics, process digitization, scheduling, Warehouse digitization, etc.
  • Work in cross disciplinary teams to deliver projects value.
  • Educate self and others, mentoring 6Sigma candidates.
  • Provide improvement coaching and mentorship.
  • Facilitate / lead problem solving methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, productivity workshops

Value:

  • Regularly track projects status and financial metrics in Opportunity Tracking Tool (OTT), thought the site OTT reviews.
  • Analyze and report financial results and use them to drive learnings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. degree in engineering (e.g., industrial, chemical, etc.).
  • 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results driven, team-player with a can-do attitude.
  • Certified Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
  • Excellent problem-solving and team collaborations skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite.]

Preferred Experience:

  • Managing projects and working with people across different global organizations.
  • Ability to influence individuals across different cultures, organizations, and locations.
  • Experience analyzing operations and its cost drivers.
