Job/Internship Description

STV is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for our Buildings and Facilities division in our New York, NY office. This position will work with senior and junior designers to assist in the completion of project construction documents for various projects. The B+F Group provides design services to both public agencies and other larger design projects. Major projects typically include commercial, aviation, federal, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under direction of senior staff

  • Preparing drawings, specifications, using BIM programs, such as Revit, CAD, and others

  • Format reports and specifications

  • Assist in file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scan documents as required

  • Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the company's organizational structure

  • Utilizes current company-wide and/or department-specific software to complete assignments

  • Specific activities vary by assignment

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a 4- year degree in civil/structural engineering.

Compensation Range:

$46,713.00 - $62,284.00
