Overview

We are seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager/Civil Engineer to lead our West Coast Aviation team. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, designers, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, wetland scientists, and archaeologists to provide comprehensive solutions to clients in Washington, Oregon, California, and beyond.

Responsibilities
    Lead business development initiatives for targeted clients and projects.
  • Manage and oversee airport development projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Guide design development efforts, leading an internal multidisciplinary team.
  • Oversee construction management activities for design projects.
  • Serve as a liaison with the FAA, supporting clients with administrative processes.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Washington or Oregon, or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
  • Desire to obtain PE registration in California.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design, construction, and project management, specifically focused on FAA AIP funded airport development projects and Part 139 airport experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA design standards and project development processes.
  • Proven experience with AIP Grant and State Funding for airport improvement projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in planning, design, and construction supervision of public works projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a client-focused approach.
