Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking multiple part-time course instructors and course developers for the Center for Executive Leadership in Government. Programs are designed for training managers in non-profit, government, and public service organizations. The training provided includes professional certification and/or professional development for managers.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Collaborates with content experts and instructors preparing materials to be used in the creation of an online version; provide pedagogical support for new instructors building modules including public sector specific examples for cases and course framing content.
  • Develops and shares standard frameworks to be used in Canvas such as discussions, collaborations, and cases.
  • Responsible for non-credit course content development, course administration and content delivery, material development, revisions, updates, online materials and audio/visual/presentations for the following programs:
    • Mini Master in Public Administration
    • Public Leadership
    • Strategic Communications
    • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in or with non-profit Federal, County, or Local government organizations.
Certifications/Licenses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Instructional experience or successful completion of Train-the-Trainer program.
  • Government, nonprofit or professional teaching or course development experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Equipment Utilized
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Will work at several sites throughout New Jersey.
