Learning & Development LMS Administrator
Overview:
The Learning & Development LMS Administrator is a part of the HR Operations Team and will ensure efficient, effective, knowledgeable Learning and Development guidance and solutions related to the Litmos Learning Management System (LMS). This role will have responsibility for the maintenance and day-to-day administration of our LMS, supporting the Learning and Development Manager on deploying training solutions, and coordinating the administration of NJDOL Training Programs.
To succeed in this role, you will be self-motivated with outstanding organizational and time management skills, have a project-oriented mindset with the ability to partner well with others. You will be a continuous learner, open to new perspectives and transformative ideas. You will play a critical role in helping deliver an exceptional employee experience and enabling the work of HR. You will foster high levels of collaboration and coordination between HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Marotta Managers and LMS Users to ensure effective service delivery and agility to achieve Marotta's business priorities.
The Learning & Development LMS Administrator will report directly to the Learning and Development Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
  • NJDOL Training program Coordination
    • Coordinate internal and external execution of Department of Labor grant programs
  • LMS System Management including:
    • LMS System Design
      • Plays a critical role in installing, setting up, and configuring the Litmos LMS system to meet the organization's specific needs.
  • LMS User Management
    • Manage user profiles within the LMS
    • Ensure accurate user data and process, track, and troubleshoot any issues related to user access or other daily 'help' requests
    • Set up user security groups, learning paths, and other LMS tool configurations
  • LMS Content Management
    • Facilitate the seamless upload and organization of various learning resources, courses, and materials into the LMS
    • Collaborate with content creators to ensure content quality, version control, and archival data is up-to-date and aligns with organizational learning objectives
  • LMS Learning Paths
    • Develop and implement learning paths to guide employees through structured learning journeys
    • Track participant progress and ensure successful completion
  • LMS Reporting and Analytics
    • Generate and analyze LMS reports to provide insights on user engagement, course completion, certification, and other relevant metrics
    • Proactively identify trends and areas for improvement based on analytics data
  • LMS Technical Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS-related inquiries and issues
    • Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges promptly
  • LMS Enhancements
    • Stay informed about updates and new features in the LMS
    • Provide input on system improvements and contribute to the implementation of enhancements
  • Other duties
    • Learning program coordination and communications
    • Large event support - planning, logistics and execution
    • General administrative support
Required Skills/Abilities/Other
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Foundational knowledge of Learning and Development concepts, or the ability to ramp quickly on new topics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized, analytical and detail oriented.
  • Ability to run reports and use basic data outputs to tell a high-level story.

  • Ability and commitment to the highest ethical standards including maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations at the state and federal level.
  • and understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Excellent capabilities in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior working knowledge of Litmos Learning Management System (LMS), human resource information system (HRIS), and similar applications.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in learning and development, human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Participates in the daily workflow of the department.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and supporting various team members
  • Must be a US Citizen
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hands on Learning Management System configuration and system administration experience
  • 3 + years of experience in coordinating and supporting large and complex learning curricula and/or programs
  • 3 + years of experience in the use and application of Virtual Learning Technology (Teams, WebEx, etc...)

This position supports both our Montville and Parsippany NJ office locations.
