Job Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our new frozen assembly line at our Newark (NJ) facility with daily financial activities.

Essential Functions
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Frozen warehouse facility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all goods, including inventory, receipts, transfers, and releases.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, storage, and transportation of goods.
• Collaborate with suppliers, shipping agents, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage capacity to maximize efficiency and minimize handling costs.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with regulations and internal policies
. • Generate reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and performance metrics
. • Maintain effective communication with internal teams
. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Good communication skills. • Leadership skills like problem-solving, decision-making, motivation, and goalsetting. • Exceptional organization and time management abilities • Comfortable with workplace technology and must be knowledgeable with MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word) • Must be reliable and professional. • English a must, Spanish a plus
