Core Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters
- Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes-related issues
- Work with 3rd party vendors and developers to implement Kubernetes-based solutions
- Automate Kubernetes tasks and workflows
- Ensure the security and reliability of Kubernetes clusters and applications
- Communicates regularly, openly and honestly with manager, team leads, and business partners using appropriate and effective methods. Raises concerns and issues appropriately.
- Preform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of (3) years relevant experience or
- Associate's Degree and a minimum of (5) years relevant experience or
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (7) years relevant experience
Relevant Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Required
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift and/or Rancher and Infrastructure Management Required
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture Required
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd Required
- Experience with networking, monitoring, and logging in Kubernetes Required
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills Required
Licenses & Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Other Physical Demands
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
