The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Senior Clerk will provide administrative support for the Clinical Research Resource (CRR), the clinical research arm of Columbia's Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (CTSA). This position will report to the Senior Program Manager and Clinical Research Nurse Manager.

This position will support the clerical, and census data management needs of the resource. The Senior Clerk will serve as key point person for data entry and management.

The selected candidate must be a dependable, team player with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key point person for data entry and management, including offsite CRR/CTSA supported units' monthly reports, protocol status verification through research protocol and participant database, update WebCAMP, and maintenance of participants' informed consent file. Double-check data integrity to provide accurate monthly census and billing
  • Assisting with data collection and quality assurance for Common Metrics activities
  • Assist in preparation of periodic data reports and annual progress report preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires two years of college or completion of secretarial school or equivalent business experience, plus a minimum of one- or two-year's related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Epic experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with electronic data management using Excel.
  • Highly motivated, willing to learn, proactive, and a strong customer service orientation; team oriented and able to work independently.
  • Candidate must have strong proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
