Hybrid Work Model

SLC Management operates in a hybrid environment with a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work two-three days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.

Director, Asset Management Compensation and Analytics

What is in it for you:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Asset Management Compensation, the Director, Asset Management Compensation & Analytics is an experienced professional that provides senior level reporting, analytics and data visualisation expertise to help design, administer and measure effectiveness of compensation and HR programs.

What you will do:

  • Perform complex research, financial modelling and data analysis to support a variety of projects including incentive plan changes and HR program effectiveness assessments
  • Enhance or design compensation and HR dashboards pulling from various systems and data sources to effectively track, analyze and report on KPIs
  • Participate in salary and other compensation surveys ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of data submissions
  • Conduct market data benchmarking to assess the external competitiveness of compensation levels and programs
  • Assess, enhance and where needed design new salary structures and market ranges across geographic locations and currencies
  • Conduct job evaluations for roles across functions and levels
  • Put together compensation package recommendations for internal and external hires including supporting complex executive offers
  • Prepare concise and visually compelling presentations to support compensation initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, designing or enhancing, and implementing new tools, templates and methodologies
  • Project manage medium to large projects or work streams and consult with internal partners to develop, implement and support compensation programs such as year-end
  • Maintain a good understanding of internal and external compensation design, practices and policies and industry trends.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clarity and direction while managing expectations in dynamic situations.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity with confidence, leveraging strong problem-solving skills to find solutions and execute effectively

What you will need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR Management, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis, with comfort manipulating large datasets and creating macros to enhance automation and accuracy of processes.
  • Strong experience in driving continuous improvement by identifying, designing or enhancing, and implementing new tools, templates and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills including liaising with various stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of HR programs and connections.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including proven ability to build effective partnerships and jointly find solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with coding languages e.g. SQL, Python, VBA
  • Experience in asset management industry.
  • Experience in global compensation.
  • Completion or progress towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation

For roles based in NY, the salary range for this position is $126.2 - $189.3k.

Salary Range

105,000/105 000 - 175,000/175 000

The Base Pay range is for the primary location of the job. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
