Job Description

As a Leadership Specialist in the HR function, your main focus will be to equip current and future leaders across personas with the knowledge and skills to drive our business, develop their teams, and grow their careers. Provide targeted mentorship and tailored leadership development, cultivating confident, agile leaders who inspire others to drive our culture and values.

This hybrid role reports into our Regional Learning and Performance Development Manager and is based out of the New York Support Office.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

  • Implement and drive H&M Group Leadership philosophy and principles in the Region

  • Analyze developmental needs and knowledge gaps with HR Business Line

  • Coach the organization in building customized leadership development plans for current and future leaders

  • Implement relevant leadership development offers, ensuring a holistic approach to leadership growth

  • Measure the effectiveness of interventions and provide feedback to the Community of Expertise and the business

  • Foster an inclusive leadership culture to maximize leadership potential aligned with local Inclusion & Diversity goals

  • Contribute to the global leadership community, collaborating with external partners, thought leaders and industry peers to stay updated on innovative practices

  • Facilitate leadership programs for senior leadership teams when needed

  • Cultivate a pipeline of competent leaders equipped with advanced skills, creating leaders capable of steering the organization toward its strategic objectives. Ensure leaders are aware of the H&M Group leadership and values expectations and ready to drive it with their teams

  • Up to 20% travel may be required, based on business needs

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of Leadership Development experience

  • An academic degree, or a combination of education and relevant work experience

  • Provides a comprehensive understanding of various leadership models and adapt leadership styles to effectively motivate and guide teams

  • Demonstrates ability to facilitate and deliver trainings

  • Skilled in continuous learning with the ability and enthusiasm to adapt to new information, technologies, and industry trends

  • Experience in assessment tools and adult learning theories

  • Proficient in content curation and instructional design

Compensation: salary range is $ 76,144 - $ 85,662 annually**
