Position Summary
Serve as initial contact and a source of information to the general public, students, staff and faculty on policies, procedures and office activities and provide basic information for the StudentLink Center. Adhering to the StudentLink Center Three-Tier Service model, respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures and office activities. Assist with the prioritization of office activities and scheduled events. Compose and correspond to the StudentLink Passport Photo and general StudentLink Center email accounts. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry duties utilizing intermediate-level functions.
Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
2+ years of experience working in an office environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office. Good writing and proofreading skills. Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Korean, Hindi, Bengali, or Punjabi.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $34.843. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
