About the Role
BetMGM is jointly owned by two large public companies, MGM Resorts and Entain Group, with the mission of building a market-leading sports betting and iGaming digital business. The Senior Revenue Analyst - FP&A will be a key member of BetMGM's growing finance team and will be heavily involved in the preparation and development of revenue-related executive team and board level reporting and will be involved in forecasting, variance analysis and business planning activities. This role will work closely with the Director of Revenue Management, the CFO, and the wider finance team and business partners throughout BetMGM and its shareholder companies. A successful candidate will exhibit a keen attention to detail, strong finance & numerical instinct and the ability to work both efficiently and effectively in an ever-changing environment. Responsibilities
  • Key role in the monitoring and analysis of business performance, including detailed financial analysis and tracking the trends in the business
  • Managing the weekly/monthly reporting decks and any other ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Support the planning and forecasting activities of the business, including developing the data and analysis to support financial model assumptions and also the implementation of model updates
  • Ability to work through ambiguity while leveraging data sets from various sources
  • Design, develop & deliver insightful on-going or ad-hoc reports/analyses for stakeholders - where diving deep into business trends and big data is required
  • Support and ensure accuracy of data flow between BI, Accounting and FP&A functions and across reporting systems (Vena, Oracle, BI databases)
  • Continuous review and improvement of reporting and planning processes
  • Support wider business with analysis of business initiatives or special projects
  • Competitor and market analysis
  • Support the Director of Revenue Management, VP Finance, CFO and other stakeholders
Essential Functions
  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
  • At least 3+ years of FP&A or related finance experience
  • Bachelor or higher degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • MBA, CPA, CFA or similar preferred
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Excellent data analysis, modelling and forecasting skills - with the ability to quickly identify key business trends and feed this into forecasting models and/or actionable insights
  • Exposure to one or more major accounting or FP&A applications (i.e. Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Vena)
  • Experience with SQL or similar to create, manage, maintain, and manipulate large datasets (preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to work independently and take initiative particularly in a fast-paced start up environment
  • Must have a collaborative management style with the ability to build partnerships cross functionally, effectively influence and develop and implement business process improvements in the planning, reporting and revenue management area

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
