That's why we're looking for a dynamic Legal Support Services Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Support Services Manager and assist with departmental initiatives and special projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for...

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the Legal Support Manager
  • Collaborating with Manager on strategic planning and change management projects to include research, concept design, execution, and evaluation
  • Managing various projects in support of staff management and administration (i.e., staff and attorney on-boarding and out-processing, coordination and scheduling of various meetings, management of staff call-out procedures, maintenance of procedural Manuals and administrative Guidelines, etc.)
  • Managing daily attendance staff leave request process to include scheduling and approving staff leave requests within Kronos, maintaining coverage spreadsheets for the department, monitoring staff leave balances, addressing leave conflicts, and escalating issues to Managers
  • Participating in new hire process and orientation (i.e., assists with preparation of on-boarding schedule, finalizing attorney and team assignments, presenting Kronos process and procedures, providing office tours, etc.)

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience; preferably within a Law Firm environment
  • Advanced level technical skills within Microsoft Office suite; intermediate/advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint preferred as well as proven ability to quickly learn other applications as needed
  • Familiarity with document management systems; iManage is preferred
  • Prior experience in leading through change and serving as a positive change agent to all levels of the organization; familiarity with change management process preferred
