Join us as the Regional Market Manager for the Carolina market and its surrounding areas!

As the Regional Market Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of sales representatives, driving revenue growth and market penetration in our assigned territory. Your role is pivotal in building and nurturing long-term relationships with key producer partners for our Absence, Disability, and Life products, ensuring mutual success and satisfaction.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of professional sales employees across North and South Carolina.

  • Recruit and nurture sales talent, empowering them to exceed sales objectives.

  • Cultivate and maintain effective, long-term relationships with key Producers (Brokers/Consultants) within the territory, fostering quality partnerships and access to opportunities.

  • Conduct site visits and Capabilities Meetings with assigned Producers to achieve sales targets.

  • Develop and execute plans to increase opportunities and introduce products/services to targeted Producer partners.

  • Drive individual sales and production from selected agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales plans, focusing on increasing revenue and market share.

  • Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, and operational structures, enhancing your ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities.

  • Manage expense budgets effectively to optimize resources.

  • Stay abreast of current and emerging market changes/trends, collaborating with management to incorporate them into solutions.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

  • 5 - 7+ years of successful experience in selling Group Benefits to brokers/employers, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Life and Health Licenses required in all assigned areas.

Job Knowledge & Skills:

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in sales.

  • Proficiency in underwriting, risk analysis, and financials.

  • Exceptional presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Results-oriented with a strong background in Employee Benefits, particularly Absence Management, Disability, and Life.
