Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Analyst specializing in data visualization and dashboards to join the Analytics team within Client Solutions at BPN- Part of Initiative/Mediabrands. A successful candidate will have fluency in using statistical analysis to answer questions about data sets with a strong UX/UI point of view on how to develop compelling visuals.
Curiosity, creativity and a wide variety of skills in media, technology, and data are critical success factors.

Responsibilities
  • Extract data and write SQL queries for underlying databases.
  • Fluency using statistics and visualizations to answer questions about data sets.
  • Work with multivariate and/or "large" datasets using conventional statistical techniques.
  • Develop compelling visual stories effectively for business stakeholders.
  • Communicate meaningful insights from large data sets.
  • Build, maintain, and support rich and interactive graphical representations of data (reports, dashboards)
  • Assist analytics team members in creating the right data and visualization solutions for their requirements which will involve rapidly transforming raw data into actionable information using ETL, analytics and visualization tools and techniques.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Expert in Tableau visualizations (with a portfolio of visuals you can share)
  • Intermediate level experience in SQL
  • 2+ years of programming and/or automation development work
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, specifically extracting media data from various sources (transforming it to fit analytics and operational Knowledge of digital data types (1st , 2nd , 3rd party data), and marketing and advertising technologies/partners needs
  • Basic understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • Experience with at least one of the following cloud computing platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with advertising technologies or operations (media planning, buying, reporting) is a plus
  • Experience working with data from digital channels (DCM, Meta, X, AdWords, Bing, etc.) is a plus
  • Programming Experience in Python and/or C++, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
  • Experience advocating and driving product adoption and usage.
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

The salary range for this position is posted below.
