The VP, Content Strategy & Growth will lead the content transformation across Conde Nast, supporting, equipping and empowering brand editorial leaders to meet established KPIs and objectives, identify areas of opportunities and leverage our content in all formats to connect with our audience in meaningful ways to drive our business forward. This role will collaborate with teams across the company, such as the revenue, product, and audience teams, serving as the bridge between our content teams and the rest of business.

This position is based in our NY office, reporting to the Chief Content Operations Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The VP, Content Strategy & Growth, will lead our global content planning and content sharing strategy, overseeing our team of content planning managers, who are responsible for content strategy and planning across our global brands, as well as our team of translation and adaptation editors, who are responsible for selecting and editing content for relevance for their titles and markets

  • Alongside the Chief Content Operations Officer, identify opportunities for growth and transformation within the content organization, and develop execution plans to further the core and the future of our business

  • Partner with the central audience strategy and central video strategy teams to analyze data-driven reports and translate findings into content opportunities or new ways of working

  • Collaborate with teams across the business such as commercial, consumer and product to identify gaps in content, audience or monetization opportunities

  • Be a hub of and for the editorial teams, providing resources and tools, and facilitate editorial training with our partners across the company

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of working experience in a digital media organization or a comparable media company

  • 7+ years of experience managing teams, preferably globally

  • Strong quantitative skills used for monitoring and improving both systems and processes

  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive towards a single goal

  • Ability to tackle problems in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment

  • Entrepreneurial nature with a strong ability to manage through ambiguity

  • Proven ability to use data in order to evaluate team and tactic effectiveness

  • Passionate, curious and willing to collaborate, test and learn

The expected base salary range for this position is from $180,000-$279,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
