Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, analyzing data and trends, preparing reports and variance analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

Major Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas of opportunity or risk and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc reporting and variance analysis for senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial projections, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and address specific business needs, utilizing quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for management/Board meetings, summarizing financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CFA/additional qualifications are a plus but not required.
  • 3-4 years of corporate finance experience with financial planning and analysis a must.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with complex financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint for leadership, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas and influence decision-making processes.

Occasional travel may be required.
