Inventory Parts Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory control processes. This includes ordering, receiving, inspecting, and accurately accounting for all materials and parts essential for maintenance operations. Your responsibilities will contribute directly to product safety, legality, and quality, showcasing your competence in various on-the-job activities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process parts/material requests, identifying and ordering parts based on parts manuals and catalogs.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of bakery process equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including ACCESS, is a requirement.
  • Preferably experienced in utilizing maintenance replenishing systems software.
  • Receive, inspect, count, record, and store parts/materials efficiently.
  • Maintain a well-organized and orderly parts storage area.
  • Ensure accurate and cost-effective inventory management at all times.
  • Keep the work area clean and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Utilize effective people and phone skills for optimal job performance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervision.
  • Maintain compliance with EEO, Harassment, Safety, and other relevant policies.

License and Mobility:

  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to move freely throughout the plant and external materials/parts sources.

Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Ability to enter, drive, and exit vehicles used by the Engineering department.
  • Lift, hold, and move parts and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Retrieve parts and equipment from all storage areas used by the Engineering Department.
  • Read, comprehend, and practice necessary safety procedures and signs.
  • Wear and use approved safety equipment as needed.
